Most definitely the biggest competitor to the Dusty's Caesar is the GLC Caesar. I was recently riding in Whistler and wanted to meet a friend for an apres drink. She suggested the GLC patio for some caesars, nachos and beer and I agreed as I was hoping to ride out into the Village anyways. I arrived at peak apres hours and there was a line already forming at the entrace of the GLC - as it is a popular place to drink. I find it attracts a older crowd and is often frequented by locals.
My friend had a table in the corner and was already sipping on her Caes. I asked her what she thought of it and she replied,
"I think GLC has the best Caesars in Whistler - for f**ks sake there is bacon in it!"
"But what about the Dusty's Caesar?" I asked. "There's beef jerky in it."
"It's overrated."
I ordered one and had to agree that it was also a well-made and delicious Caesar. Drink specifics are as follows:
The GLC Caesar
Garnish: spicy bean, cocktail skewer (olive, onion, pickle) and bacon
Spice: 2.5/5
Price: $$$ 1/2
I couldn't help but noticing though, as I looked around the bar, there weren't very many caesars being ordered.
That made me ask myself: Is the GLC Caesar really better than Dustys?
My question is then who makes a better Caesar - Dustys or The GLC?
Also what is a better apres - Creekside or the Village?
The GLC Caesar is definitely better than the average Caesar. Its deliciousness cannot be denied. If you find yourself riding out to the Village and there is a spot on the patio I would 100% reccomend heading to the GLC for your Caesar.

i'm still partial to the dusty's caesar... you can't really compete with a skewer of prawns and chorizo... plus the company was awesome.

I'm a day late and a dollar short, but I think the bottom line is, if you're lucky enough to be apres'ing in Whistler. You're lucky enough! Everywhere is pretty awesome!
